Crap, now Bush can vote in New Jersey
"Language written into the [New Jersey] state constitution in 1844 prohibits anyone deemed an "idiot or insane person" from voting."
And now they're trying to change that.
I know a certain Cat who's bf has some splaining to do. I don't know if it's to justify the old consitution or the ratified one...

Happy Birthday To Matty!!
So starts day 3 of Matty's Birthday weekend extravaganda.
Friday night was Pakio's birthday party at Swerve music store in Pike Place Market. Everyone buy your music and dvd there, very cool local business to support.
Last night was supposed to be pre-funking at my place and then clubbing starting at 10. As it was the 3rd day in a row with teemperatures below freezing (a freak thing for us Seattlites) we decided that free drinks and a warm place to hang out was perfereable to freasing to death between bars. It was a nice small party with booze related gifts for matty. :) Two drink recipe books, a bottle of wine, and a bag of foofoo bath stuff from Lush. Pretty good haul.
Tonight is dinner with the parents and then a get together at the Boat Shed in Bremerton so that the Kitsap people wouldn't have to commute to celeberate with me. Woohoo.
Unfortunately Jerimy's still sick. Send him your well wishes. Hope your New Years are shaping up nicely.

Mixer Mess!
Damn You BUS!!!
Due to freak snow storms and everything being frozen, commutes around the sound have been irratic for the second time in a month. Because I'm a responsible adult I did everything I could to figure out if anyone from work had e-mailed me to let me know if they weren't showing up. I decided since I live the closest to work, if they're coming in, I should come in.
No e-mails.
Checked my work phone.
No messages.
So I went out and gave it the old college try. I got to my bus stop and waited
And waited.
And waited.
I decided as soon as the episode of How Much Do We Love
I was listening to was over, I was gonna just go back home and call it a day, giving myself an A for effort.
I was planning out my day, deciding was gonna get myself a delicious peppermint schnapps hot chocolate, then shop for some clothes for Pakio's birthday party tomorrow night, and buy booze for the birthday party at my place on Saturday.
And then the bus showed up.
As soon as I sat down, the podcast had finished.
I hate everything.

Jerimy's Mac World Post
Apple today announced that they will be selling a 4gb and 8gb model iPhone for $499 and $599. The iPhone will be a widescreen iPod/Cell phone/Internet Content with an exclustivity agreement with Cingular/AT&T wireless. As a side note if you are interested in having the iPhone with your carrier then contact your wireless carrier and express your interest in them carrying the iPhone.
The iPhone also is loaded with OSX with versions of Safari, mail and iPhoto loaded on.
The iPhone will operate as a widescreen video iPod. Many users as well as myself have been wanting a widescreen iPod for a very long time. It also has interface between Address book, iChat, and mail to syncronize content between your iPhone and your computer. I see many advantages to this phone and can even see a user using it instead of a cell phone if a city like Seattle were to offer free wireless internet or if they were to partner with an a company like Clearwire to with the phone so a user doesn't need a celluar service to use the phone within the city.
The good news from the iPhone is that I believe that Apple will announce in the next few months a new widescreen video iPod with the Voice over IP capiblities in 60 gb and 100 gb sizes so you will basically get an iPhone without the cellular capiblities. This release will probably have the capabilities to share your itunes library and other content from other computers. This will make the iPod both a media player and a mini computer in your pocket.
Apple also announced the Apple TV. This product will have an 40 gb hard drive built in and will do exactly what we all thought it would do. Which is to stream movie, tv and music content to your television. It is a cool product and having the ability to interconnect one library between several PC's will be a popular feature. The drawbacks are that it will cost you $299 for this fuctionality. My personal feelings at the moment is that you can buy a cable for $29.00 that will do the same thing as the Apple TV.
Apple also updated the WiFi Apple Airport basestation to work with HD content at faster connection rates. This with the Apple TV will allow a user to get HD content to their TV. Again, you can do the same thing with an $29.00 cord. Unless Apple can give us more of a reason for getting this product I don't see it as a necessary product that users needs. AND it becomes and issue of over complicating an already over machined part of your house. Maybe some solutions for Apple is to put in a DVD drive in the Apple TV so that I can get rid of my DVD player or something. I just don't want to add compentents to my TV setup. I would replace a compentent though.
So overall this was a good keynote and it leaves room for many tuesday "special events" where we can lay in wait for new and exciting updates and products! YeAAHHH APPLE!!!

I Wanna Mascot!!
This is Stanley Stat. The mascot for the US Department of Agriculture. His girl friend is Pie-Chart Pam. But he has fun on the side with Spread-Legs...I mean Spreadsheet Sammy.
These are the Cryptokids, the cool, hip group who will get your kids trained in the way of the NSA and enabling them to narc you out to the government as a terrorist at a younger and younger age. HURRAY!
What should the RDR mascot be?
And it's not going to be Teb! :P

Lookit What I Got
So now the remote casts will be just as high quality (from a recording stand-point at least) as our face to face episodes. This purchase seemed a good idea since RDR will become a solely remote show within the next six months or so when Matty goes back to school. Plus this will come in handy when recording Busy Faggot with Pakio. Plus the guy at Guitar Center in Belltown in Seattle was HOT!! Mmm. Hot music sales guy in a t-shirt and sport coat.

Retail Therapy
I went shopping during lunch and got myself a shiny metallic blue ashtray to act as a change bowl at my desk and then went to Old Navy and got two pairs of soft pants (thank you Rob and Sara of How Much Do We Love podcast) a hoodie, AND my nephew's late christmas present (not to be confused with my late nephew's present which is another post in itself) for only $12!!
The picture is a result of internet free association while I was trying to track down a picture of the ADORABLE aligator stuffed animal. Couldn't find that, but love this t-shirt for babies.
TGIF!!

I dream of iPhone
Diet Time
I'm using reverse psychology (or something) to help me with my diet. Right now I'm really working to stick to just the two slim fasts, and a lean cuisine each day. To help with the cravings, anytime I want something, instead of actually tracking it down, I'm just going to post it.
Join in with me, won't you? What are you craving?
Right now I REALLY want a big ol' turkey sandwich. MMMM
Thanks for being troopers and struggling through the tech issues on this most resent episode. If you get all the way to the end, I owe you a drink :).
I'd also like to apologize for my general bitchiness during the show. As we learned from the sick episode we recorded a while back, Matty's not pleasant when he's sick. And by sick (right now at least) I mean: my belly button hurts. MEH!
That's right boys I'm still single! Bring it on!
Nerd Alert!
As part of an e-mail chain I was reminded of how, in Star Trek TNG (The Next Generation for all you non-trekker people [we call you 'normies]) Picard would always ask the replicator for "Earl Grey. Hot!" And every time all he would ever get would be a damn cup of tea.
I have taken it upon myself to find out who this hot Earl Gray guy is.
Unfortunately that's who came up when I googled him.
Not so hot Picard. Give me Sir Francis Lipton or Chin Lo Tazo any day.

Significant January Day’s from my Simpson’s Calendar
Stupid Copier (and by Copier I mean Admin and by Admin I mean Me)
So I'm assembling this huge book for my boss for a meeting today. And, after printing 300 pages, realized I hadn't set the printer to print stuff on both sides of the page. Crap.
Plus the new tabs we ordered are plastic and I can't print on them. Sigh.
I promised myself when I understood the Dilbert and Office Space jokes, I'd leave. I understood them 11 months ago.
BTW One year anniversary coming up. WEEEE!

Digging the Drag Queen
Worst Tuesday Pretending it's a Monday EVER!
After almost two weeks off, it's back to the grind. I had 130+ e-mails waiting for me when I got here this morning. Only a quarter of them talked about enlarging my penis, which means...well, you can do the math.
It's really not such a bad day. Pretty typical actually, and I certainly feel productive, whipping through the back log.
This surgery recovery is different than I thought it would be. At this point there's no real pain, just a general discomfort that increases and persists the longer I do things like sit or stand. On top of the interior gut uncomfortableness, there's a also the itchiness right above my belly button, which I know means things are healing but...it's an interesting sensation. Of course all this just makes me really worn out and tired, even though I've been really responsible recently.
God, I hope I don't ever get old, I bitch too much about my body. I'm sure no one wants to hear this.
HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVERYONE!

Fizzy Punchy Goodness
So what's everyone think of my lack of ability to post daily like I wanted? Oh well. Anyway I've had two Xmas parties in the past week where I've been able to provide the best party punch EVER! So I figured I'd share some love with the world. It's really easy cause you just dump a bunch of containers into the bowl, stir, and make sure you stop drinking when you try to climb the wall with your lips.
AWESOME SO-CO PARTY PUNCH!!
1 bottle Southern Comfort
1 can orange juice concentrate
1 can lemonade concentrate
1 2 liter bottle Sprite
Ice
Ladle
Bowl
Pour everything together and stir. Should be enough for a pretty big party, since one or two glasses is enough per person. ENJOY!

There's Got to Be a Morning After
Watch out for Mom's deadly So-Co punch. Mmmm. And watch out for drinking all the left over bottles and stuff. That sounds kind of trashy, but I can't let that stuff go to waste. And speaking of wasted...this is kind of how I feel...

Alive, It's ALIVE! (or, you know, working again)
So I've still been collecting the episodes but not really listening, cause I can only spend so much time in front of my computer listening to podcasts. Well the newest iPod update came out a couple of days ago and now...FINALLY, I can listen to the shows I've been missing. Although, to be completely honest, I haven't missed FOF all that much. It's on the pod now, we'll see how long that lasts.
Anyway, for those of you who've had similar issues, here's your answer baby.
First update BAD!
Later update GOOD!

Something To Look at While You Start Your Day
What better way to begin this blog than with a trip to the loo. It's appropriate on so many levels; it's kookie, it's colorful, and it's a toilet!
Welcome to the blog for Razzle Dazzle Radio. Eventually this blog will be rolled up into the RDR site but for now, please enjoy the (hopefully) daily posts as hosted by Blogger. Also enjoy the weekly podcast episodes as hosted by Matty and Jerimy.
