Clip Clop Clip Clop

Looking ahead in the local theater season 2007-2008 I found that Monty Python's Spamalot is coming to Seattle from October 10th - 28th.

Back in my first years of high school I actually attempted a shot for shot (kind of) recreation of the movie with all of my friends.

I was a weird kid...

Bye Bye Razzle Dazzle...Hello Galore

So anyone who's tried to access it today knows the Razzle Dazzle Radio site is now gone. The matty@razzledazzleradio.com account is done. It was an amazing year that brought incredible change and fun and Pakio into my life.

So now we're moving on.

Please check out the new show, Galore, and e-mail Pakio or Matty at galorepodcast@yahoo.com.

Buckle in everyone, the party's just getting started...

I Wish I Could Go Back to College...

...and be the complete stoner who thinks up awesome things like this!

For HMDWL Listeners

This is so not my bit at all. It was inspired from multiple discussions by Rob and Sara on How Much Do We Love.

This is a Peep fight. Frankly it seems more exciting than anything I'd ever do with a Peep because they are gross.

Now Cadbury Eggs....Don't get me started!

What better way to celebrate the salvation of mankind than by two marshmallows stabbing themselves with toothpicks.

God Bless America!

Another PSA I've been looking for forever

Hey, whatever happened to Rachel Cook?

I think I watched too much TV as a kid.

More awesome videos from my free association on my youth.

Mo' Fo' PICTURE PAGES BITCHES!!

The Adventures of Little Koala

Other than Mask the first 4 minutes of this are a mystery to me. There was so much amazing CRAP!

Anyone else remember?

Today's Special was a Canadian show on Nickelodeon from the 80's. Complete with lessons to learn and full on badly written Broadway type numbers.

I think even then I had issues with Jodie's pink pantsuit.

How did my parent's not know I was a big 'mo back then?

Let's Wake Up and then Have to Clean a Mess...

Meet clocky. The alarm clock that rolls around and hides while it beeps and beeps. I get the idea. Once you're up to catch it, you won't be going back to sleep. But how to you make sure it doesn't just knock everything over?

And what do you do if you're gone for the weekend and forget to turn off your alarm?

And why is it covered in brown shag?

THAT'S where I left my 80's porn

Time Capsule Vandalized

A time capsule was sealed up in 1957 by a bunch of college students. They opened it this week and it turns out during 80's, someone slipped in some porn centerfold, dirty underwear, and a condom. It did not say whether the condom was used or not.

Happy Administrative Assistant's Day!

I wish my life were as sassy and musical as sexy stenog Miss Millie Dillmount.

It's 9am...so far no mention round the office of my special day.

Booooo. :)

Happy Dance Update!

Finding this picture reminded me how long it's been since "Calvin and Hobbes" has been around. The comic not the painfully dry philosophers.

The bad news is I've been rejected from NYU, Colubmia, Northwestern, and UCLA for the masters program.

The good news is I'm on the alternate list for AFI. I'll know for sure by May 9th.

The GREAT news is I've been accepted for the UCLA year long screenwriting program. And I can do it online which means I get to stick around Seattle a little while longer! And it's WAY cheaper than the MFA program.

Life is good.

I kind of made a commitment to myself that I'd get my first tattoo in celebration if I got accepted to one of the schools. Any suggestions?

To Cleanse the Pallet (no pun...)

The Best of Ralph WIggum

Kids'll Crawl Into Anything If You Don't Watch Them

A missing child was found inside a shot crocodile.

Now if I could just find my car keys...

This reminds me of this gross video. Don't worry, no humans were killed in the process of making this one.

Oh, netflix...

So apparently, because I rated United 93 5 stars, netflix thinks I would like the DVD of the creation of the musical Miss Saigon.

In Miss Saigon a helicopter lands on stage to rescue American "refugees" and fly them away from angry communists.

In United 93 a bunch of terrorists crash a plane in a Pennysylvania farm field.

Wha?

What We Had Hoped to Acchieve

Not only is there a fun cover of I Enjoy Being a Girl with Carol Burnett and Chita Rivera but you've got Boris Karlov singing Chim Chim Cherrie from Mary Poppins.

I've got the wig for the Girl number, if only we'd had the time.

And Carol Burnett.

This is Why You Read the Directions!

No it's not the remenants of our "victory" in Baghdad, this statue is in the good ol' US of A. I decided I wanted to start my sculpture of a man in a suit doing a hand stand from the top and work down but...I ran out of room. Oops.

While We're Remencising

This clip still makes me all weepy when Kelly Clarkson sings the BALLS off A Moment Like This after winning the first season of AI. If the show had ended after this one season, I'd say it's done it's duty to the universe. OF course then we never would've had the Clay-mates...hmmm...maybe they should've ended then...

And if you have the time, here's a full Kelly Clarkson on AI montage

Madonna-rific!!

I know it's about a year late, but the show tonight inspired me. Enjoy!

Found this one too. It's not too shabby either, I wanna learn to play the piano!

Happy International Kilt Day!

Sadly I'm wearing pants right now, but everyone else who has Scottish heritage like me should hopefully be wearing their kilt in the traditional style (meaning sans undies) to celebrate this marvelous day.

Why's it so marvelous? I woke up and got to see channel 4 weatherman Jim Castillo in a kilt.

Mmmm...

Like Santa's Elf!

Here's how big a nerd I am, today we got our new business cards in and I was so excited to hand them out. Just going around to everyone's cube, handing them a little box that they weren't expecting when they came in to work today. So festive!!

By the way, only 264 more shopping days till Xmas. Get cracking bitches.

PS The above picture is why I could never work as a starving actor.

On a more positive note...

54 years ago, TV Guide began publication. Hurray for tv literary-ism! Remember Homer's 3 R's "Reading TV Guide, Writing to TV Guide... Renewing TV Guide."

Liberace was WHAT?

And here's why Ted Haggard is just lying there and taking it and not suing for all the publications calling him a pole smoker. On this day in 1895 a trial began where Oscar Wilde attempted to sue a member of British nobility for calling him a sodomite. Of course, BEING a sodomite that came back to bite him in the ass, and not in the fun way. So proof came through that it wasn't inaccurate to call him a sodomite, and he was sent away to two years of hard labor.

It's not libel when it's true!

Of course we can't be sent to prison for our gay activities anymore (or at least for the moment), but this is probably one of the best examples for why visibility is soooo important. Be yourself. Proudly. If a literary genius couldn't pull off staying in the closet, who are you to think you can get away with it?

Let your freak flag fly baby! We love you for it!
